24/06/2021

After one semester at WU, it is time to say goodbye to Prof. Reeves.

Prof. Carol Reeves has been granted the Fulbright - Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Central Europe at WU in 2021. In this context, Prof. Reeves came to Vienna and taught several classes at E&I on Bachelor, Master and PhD level. Moreover, she was a special jury member at the E&I Touchdown.

The  Fulbright - Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair, which is among the most generous awards available to U.S. scholars under the auspices of the Fulbright Program, is designed to address a broad spectrum of issues related to entrepreneurship, including entrepreneurial strategies; the role of governments or other public institutions in facilitating individual initiative; relationships between public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Carol Reeves is a Professor and holder of the Cecil and Gwendolyn Cupp Professorship in Entrepreneurship in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. She has mentored 100 interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate startup teams that have won $3.3 million in cash prizes, started 23 high-growth businesses, and raised over $85 million to build their enterprises. Reeves has raised more than $5 million in government funding and philanthropic gifts to build entrepreneurship initiatives at the University of Arkansas.

Thank you Prof. Reeves for bringing in new perspectives and inspiration to the E&I institute!
