We look back on a memorable Touchdown at Wirtschaftskammer Österreich as the culmination of another successful semester during which we built bridges between theory and practice.

Touchdown!

After inspiring opening words by Nikolaus Franke about the vision and mission of E&I, Dr. Oliver Niese from FESTO about the importance of our industry-academia connection and Kambis Kohansal Vajargah, Veronika Weinbergmair and Tobias Schaller from WKÖ on the start-up ecosystem in Austria as well as Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, we heard from the winners of our MBA programs. The teams of Grid Genie (Juan Rafael Puig) and xbeerience (Bernhard Sissolak) as the Best MBA Pitch Award Presentations, as well as Daniel Björn Robert Moldenhauer with his awarded Best MBA Thesis on “An analysis of European specified purpose acquisition companies” showcased the variety of our professional MBA students and their extensive expertise.

The Pitch Battle for Innovation was the highlight of the evening, with 32 projects being pitched by our courageous E&I students. Congratulations to winner Ioanna Müller for Viva con Agua Österreich, the eight teams who will attend the 38th Alpbacher Finanzsymposium organized by Hannes Enthofer, and all pitchers who made this night so memorable!
