On September 5th, E&I faculty member Klaus Marhold was invited to give a talk at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information in Seoul, South Korea. In his talk on technology and knowledge transfer from scientific research centers he gave an overview of the Technology Competence Leveraging Method and talked about the experiences of the E&I Institute in conducting transfer projects with companies and research centers such as CERN. The seminar was followed by a series of individual research talks aiming at identifying common research interests and push forward work on a joint publication project on alliances between firms and science institutions.
