The workshop offered an opportunity for scholars to develop their ongoing work related to organisational or institutional change, broadly defined. Each paper was discussed by a senior scholar with a track record of multiple publications in, and editorial board appointments with leading management journals. Sophie presented and discussed her current work on fairness perceptions in the commercialization process of user innovations. Her work was also chosen for one of the $500 scholarships.

In addition to the discussions, a plenary session was led by Professor Sherry Thatcher, Editor at Academy of Management Review, devoted to improving understanding of how to write papers, particularly theory papers, that can be published in leading journals in general and Academy of Management Review in particular.
