E&I at the 21st Open and User Innovation Conference in Harvard

The E&I Institute had a strong presence at this year’s Open and User Innovation Conference (OUI), held from August 5th to 6th at Harvard Business School in Boston. The OUI is the world’s premier conference for scholars dedicated to user innovation research and was first held at WU back in 2003.

E&I faculty presented their ongoing research on a diverse set of topics ranging from self-selection in crowdsourcing to the Not-invented-here syndrome and co-creation configurators. Besides the presentations, many discussions on ongoing big topics for our research community were held, e.g., the advent of AI is also very noticeable and becoming increasingly important for our research.
