Dr. Jan Fell received the “ÖCV Scientia Fonds Merit Award”

Dr. Jan Fell, postdoctoral research associate at the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, has received the ÖCV Scientia Fonds Merit Award in recognition of his doctoral dissertation research conducted under the supervision of institute director Univ.-Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke.

Awarded annually by the Cartellverband (ÖCV) – Austria’s largest association of academics originally established in 1856 – the ÖCV Scientia Fonds Merit Award recognizes research achievements and scholastic excellence in the natural, social, and economic sciences, as well as in the fields of medicine, jurisprudence, and the arts. The award is endowed with €1,500 per recipient provided by corporate donors, among which are KPMG, Raiffeisen, INVEST AG, EY, Energie AG Oberösterreich, and CMS.

The award ceremony in the auditorium of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) featured opening remarks by Univ. Prof. Dr. Michael Mayrhofer, justice of the Austrian Constitutional Court, and was attended by an audience of invited leaders and decision-makers from academia, industry, and government.
