"I would like to see universities and universities of applied sciences cooperate even more in the field of entrepreneurship and produce more interdisciplinary startup teams," said Carina Margeiter (Head of Department for Entrepreneurship and Creative Industries at aws) at the 2nd ECN conference in Graz.  Exactly following this mission, the Entrepreneurship Center Network (ECN) was founded in 2012 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

Meanwhile, the ECN already counts 26 universities throughout Austria among its partner network. In addition to regular exchanges between those responsible for entrepreneurship on topics such as spin-offs or social entrepreneurship, the annual conference aims above all at one thing: to further promote and support the passion for unipreneurship in the university ecosystem.
