Magdalena Winkler, MSc (WU)

Magdalena Winkler joined the Institute for Change Management and Management Development as a Teaching and Research Associate in March 2022. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Master’s Degree in Management from Vienna University of Economics and Business. Before joining the Institute, she worked at the Social Entrepreneurship Center, where she conducted research in the field of social entrepreneurship and non-profit organizations. From February to March 2023, Magdalena was a visiting researcher at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Currently, Magdalena is a SCANCOR Visiting Student Researcher at Stanford University. In her doctoral research, she explores the emergence of fields, markets, and technologies. Empirically, her research focuses on the emergent field of cellular meat. A cornerstone of her work is the engagement with the empirical setting through ethnographic observations, interviews, and archival research.
