How quickly 365 days or 366 days respectively can pass. On September 12, 2024, the WU Center for Financial Education celebrated its 1st anniversary.

After opening remarks and a welcoming speech by the rector of WU, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Rupert Sausgruber, and the head of the Center for Financial Education, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Bettina Fuhrmann, we had the honor of welcoming again one year later the (then still) Federal Minister of Finance, Dr. Magnus Brunner, LLM, for the ceremonial address.

Under the slogan "A Year in Fast Motion", the largest projects of the Center for Financial Education in its first year were presented. These are

• Content for Finanznavi, the online platform of the National Financial Education Strategy for Austria

As an expert in financial education, we felt honored to receive a critical acclaim of the activities of the Center for Financial Education from Univ.-Prof. Dr. Carmela Aprea from the University of Mannheim.

Afterwards, all were welcome to linger over drinks and finger food.
