Alexander Prock is a teaching and research associate at the Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management at Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU Wien), Austria.

He completed both his bachelor's degree in Software & Information Engineering and master's degree in Software Engineering & Internet Computing at the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien). In his master thesis he focused on hybrid human-machine workflows for ontology verification.

After working as a software engineer in the industry for several years, he joined the Semantic Systems research group at WU Wien to research neuro-symbolic AI systems, with a focus on the synergies between knowledge graphs and large language models, and to collaborate on a project to investigate AI systems engineering design patterns with a focus on risks.
