Sai is trilingual in English, German and Mandarin. Prior to joining the Institute for International Business as a Research and Teaching Associate in October 2019 and the Institute for Responsibility and Sustainability in Global Business in April 2023, Sai’s passion for working with diverse groups of people led her to live and work in nine cities across Europe and Asia, spanning six different countries, including several multinational enterprises and a creative design consulting firm based in Shanghai.

Sai holds a double degree of Master’s in International Management/CEMS from Vienna University of Economics and Business and London School of Economics. She completed her Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and spent one semester at the University of Liverpool.

Research

Sai has a keen interest in exploring the social dimensions of sustainable development, with a particular focus on multiculturalism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Specifically, Sai is interested in investigating the role of multinational enterprises in shaping these important social issues.

Through her work, Sai aims to illuminate the various ways in which sustainable development can be achieved through a socially responsible approach, focusing on the intersection of business and society.
