Ernest Aigner, who worked at the institute until recently, was awarded the Kurt Rothschild Prize 2022 for the book “Klimasoziale Politik: Eine gerechte und emissionsfreie Gesellschaft gestalten”. The prize recognises excellent research that goes beyond standard economic theory or the economic mainstream, in order to develop new answers to current major challenges.
