This week, we said goodbye to our colleague Sarah Ware, who has been a part of our institute (formerly MLGD, now ISSET) for five years. Sarah is now taking on a position as Junior Visiting Researcher at CEU, working on the project "Resilience and Malleability of Social Metabolism" (REMASS).

REMASS will employ innovative approaches to research “social metabolism”, which refers to the analysis of resource flows, material stocks, such as buildings and infrastructure, and their contribution to society. The researchers will develop a global database focusing on three provisioning systems crucial for sustainability and social well-being: nutrition, housing and mobility. We wish Sarah all the best in her new role at CEU and will surely stay in close contact!
