ClimateLaunchpad is the world's largest competition for early-stage green business ideas, launched in 2014 by EIT Climate KIC. The program supports the development of innovative solutions to combat climate change and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable economy.

In Austria, CLP is run by Thinkubator.earth, an interdisciplinary think tank founded by two WU alumni. STaR supported the 2024 event, and we are excited to be involved again this year!

Applicants do not need a finished business plan yet—a concrete idea with ecological impact is enough. The only requirement is that the start-up must be in a very early stage: founded less than a year ago or not yet founded.
