On May 19, 2023, the 5662 Personal Selling and Sales Management in the Global Context class, led by Dr. Zoran Latinovic, had the pleasure of having on-campus Mr. Lukas Seper, Co-Founder and Head of Growth at XUND, as a Guest Speaker. Lukas shared his insights about the current challenges their promising scale-up faces.

Lukas presented their AI-powered solutions’ orientation from prevention to diagnosis to monitoring, and how the product-market fit takes time and resources.

Lukas detailed their major challenges as follows:

• Selling a product when there is no market,

• Knowing what works when you have no data,

• Finding good sales reps when you have no money.

XUND is a health technology scale-up from Vienna. In 2018, Lukas founded XUND with his longtime friends Tamás Petrovics and Dr. Zoltan Tarabo. XUND develops and provides digital health solutions to healthcare companies such as insurers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies. The scale-up has offices in Vienna, Budapest, and London and employs 48 people. Besides XUND, Lukas also co-founded healthpioneers.at, an interest group for digital health start-ups intending to elevate the Austrian healthcare system into the 21st century.

Lukas studied political science at the University of Vienna and later worked as a consultant in the public sector in Central and Eastern Europe.
