Bas Donkers from the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam visited us. Prof. Donkers presented his research on “Model-Based Purchase Predictions for Large Assortments”. In this paper the authors develop a model that aims at predicting customers’ next purchases using readily available purchase history. We thank Bas for his visit and sharing his knowledge with us.
