09/09/2024

Tamás Molnár joined the Institute for Law and Governance as a guest researcher in August 2024.

Tamás Molnár joined the Institute for Law and Governance as a guest researcher in August 2024. A scholar in international law, Tamás specialises in international/EU human rights law and international/EU migration and refugee law, and examines the interaction of these subsystems of international law with EU law, as shown, amongst others, in his monograph The Interplay between the EU’s Return Acquis and International Law (Edward Elgar 2021). In his current research, he focuses on the multifaceted interactions between EU law and international law, employing juxtaposed perspectives. In this context, Tamás is currently co-organizing, together with LawGov’s Birgit Hollaus and Stefan Mayr, the ESIL-supported international workshop entitled “The autonomy of EU law under pressure? The changing landscape of the interactions between EU law and international law”. For more information on Tamás, visit his profile.
