Born in Vienna in 1954.

Studies and qualifications:

University of Vienna (Mag. phil. degree in English and Geography in 1980)
Montclair State College (M. A. summa cum laude in 1983).

Professional experience:

Teaching English and Geography at a commercial school in Vienna
Cruise Director for an Austrian tour operator
Graduate Assistant under the Fulbright Program at the Department of Environmental, Urban, and Geographic Studies at Montclair State College, New Jersey, USA
Adjunct Professor at Montclair State College
Full-time lecturer at the Institute since 1986.
