On March 20–21, 2025, the international Gender & Diversity Conference took place at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) under the theme “Navigating Gender and Power.” The event aimed to engage in critical conversations around gender, power, and structural inequalities.

With over 100 presentations and participants from five continents, the conference became a vibrant space for meaningful exchange, networking, and lively discussions.

The diversity of contributions ranged from academic research and artistic perspectives to practice-oriented projects. Topics such as discrimination, power structures, gender equity, and inclusion were explored from interdisciplinary angles, examining how gender and diversity shape our institutions, workplaces, and societies – always with the aim of challenging existing norms and imagining more just futures.

Presentations addressed pressing issues such as intersectional discrimination, gendered power relations, inclusive leadership, and strategies for structural change.

We look back with gratitude on two inspiring days that not only provided knowledge but also built meaningful connections.
