Governance

WU takes its role as a responsible university very seriously and assumes responsibility for everything it does and the quality of the services it provides in its research, teaching, and third mission activities.

WU pledges to maintain ethical scientific standards, uphold the General Data Protection Regulation, ensure the proper handling of research data, and foster sustainable security management.

Based on these standards, the effective implementation of the digitalization strategy requires cooperation among the people in charge of different areas of responsibility at WU. WU will also have to solicit outside ideas, in keeping with the open innovation principle.
