Martin Mehrwald is a research assistant at the Competence Centre for Nonprofit organizations and Social Entrepreneurship. One of his main fields of activity is the coordination of the NGO Academy, which is a capacity building-programme for organizations in Central and Eastern Europe. Moreover, he works on research projects revolving around the topics of social innovation and scaling of social enterprises. Martin hosts the Competence Centre-Podcast Inside Impact.

Martin studied International Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and the University College Dublin, focusing on Public and Non-profit Management as well as Service and Digital Marketing. He recently attained  a master’s degree in the field of Innovation and Technology Management with his master's thesis focussing on the evaluation of ideas and innovative projects in Non-profit organisations. Currently, he pursues his PhD at the Institute for Nonprofit Management.
