Start of the scientific evaluation of the Bosch Alumni Network

11/03/2025

What are the effects of open, impact-oriented networks? How can 8,500 professionals from civil society, business, and politics collaborate and develop new solutions? What factors facilitate collaboration, and what hinders it?

Together with the International Alumni Center gGmbH (iac Berlin), we are exploring these and other research questions within one of the world's largest impact-oriented networks. The kick-off meeting took place in Berlin on March 3, where we discussed our goals and newly emerging research interests for the upcoming evaluation study. We look forward to an exciting collaboration!

A recurring partnership! For the second time, we are conducting an empirical evaluation of the Bosch Alumni Network. This partnership allows us to compare the results with those from 2019/2020 and identify long-term changes across different levels.

What’s ahead? In the coming months, we will conduct numerous qualitative interviews and plan a large-scale survey. Findings from the previous project demonstrated how the network fosters interactions and collaborations, generating direct benefits for its members and, ultimately, for society.
