We are looking for a scientific project assistant for 16-20 hours/week from 15.06.2023. Within the scope of the position, you will support our academic and practical research work and contribute to gaining and disseminating knowledge in this new field of research. The position offers you the opportunity to gain insight into the field of activity of a scientific position and perhaps to pursue a scientific career in the future.

What is expected?

• Assist with various academic and practice-based research projects in the field of social innovation, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, philanthropy, etc.

• Conducting qualitative research - interviews

• Research and preparation of quantitative data

• Support in the implementation and interpretation of quantitative online surveys (quality management)

• Communication and outreach during data collection

• Collaboration in writing scientific and practice-oriented study reports

• Contribute to administration as well as projects and programmes

What you bring with you

• Current studies at an Austrian university (Bachelor's or Master's degree), minimum remaining study time of 12 months

• Proven interest in the topics of social innovation, social entrepreneurship, impact investing and philanthropy

• Interest in and, if applicable, previous experience in theoretical and empirical scientific work as well as in the use of corresponding tools (SPSS/R, MAXQDA, etc.)

• Interest in and, if applicable, previous experience with writing science-related texts

• Very good written and spoken German and English

• Very good computer skills (Excel, etc.)

• Reliability and accuracy

The monthly salary is €1,190.10 (for 20 hours/week).
