We are delighted to share that the Headquarters in Austria team continues to grow! In early September 2022, Julian Jonathan Markus joined AEN as a Ph.D. candidate via WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and will soon start to contribute to HiA.

“My aim in academics is to create knowledge which extends our understanding of business for the sake of people and organizations! I am very excited to join the team!”

Julian is an M.Sc. Graduate of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in Human Resource Management. His academic trajectory has taken place in The Netherlands and France, complemented by work experience in Belgium, Bulgaria, and Malta. His research focuses on Human Resources, Employee Autonomy, Management Control, Organizational Design, and Leadership.

Fun fact! For his research on leadership, Julian was awarded the RSM M.Sc. Human Resource Management Thesis Award 2022 for excellence in research.
