GSM applicants are expected to provide the following documentation in English, unless it has been specifically mentioned by the local university to do otherwise.

Please ensure you follow the specific local requirements and deadlines.

• Bachelor’s transcript and, if available, bachelor’s degree. 

• Current transcript of records of master’s degree programme (if available).

• Curriculum vitae (CV) or equivalent that shows education, extracurricular activities, international experience, work experience, other relevant skills. 
  *Approach your local contact to use the appropriate formats for the selection.

• Letter of motivation (max. 700 words) or equivalent.
  *The letter of motivation can be combined with or replaced by an interview at the home university, in order to assess the applicant's motivation. 

• A priority list of the 3 preferences from GSM partner universities for the Second GSM Semester. 

• Proof of proficiency in English (if the carrier master’s degree programme is not fully taught in English).
  This proof is based on your home university’s requirements (e.g. TOEFL iBT, CAE, IELTS and others), so please consult locally what is the applicable requirement.

The application is done at your home university. Therefore, it follows the terms and deadlines determined by each partner university.

Make sure you submit all documents in English language*.
*In some cases the application documents may be submitted in a different language.
Please refer to the information provided at your carrier programme before you submit your application.

Once the application period has come to an end, a selection of the students will be carried at each partner university.
Selected GSM students will be approached by their local contact with information on all further steps regarding their admission process.
