A new coronavirus lockdown in Austria

Austrians are only allowed to leave their homes for essentials such as exercise and shopping for food.

To hear about the economic impact the BBC reporter talked to Klaus Prettner

At the moment this fourth lockdown is estimated to cost 500 – 600 million Euros/ week.

This is much less than the first lockdown in March 2020 which costs 1.8 billion Euros/week.
