Launch of two new FFG projects

Under the guidance of Prof. Verena Madner, two new FFG projects in the area of basic research started in September 2014 in the context of the federally funded programme “Energie der Zukunft/Stadt der Zukunft”.

PRoBateS analyses planning and building legislation in order to identify barriers, potentials and suitable courses of action for energy-orientated policy measures (project lead: Research Institute for Urban Management and Governance, project partner: AIT Austrian Institut of Technology).

SPRINKLE explores processes of smart city governance in small and medium-sized cities (project lead: ÖIR GmbH, project partner: TU Wien, Research Unit Sociology).
