The 11^th International Sustainability Transitions Conference starts today, August 18 as an online event and is held until the 21^st of August 2020. The annual conference of the Sustainability Transitions Research Network (STRN) is held for the first time as a digital conference.

The conference is co-hosted by the Institute for Law and Governance, the Research Institute for Urban Management and Governance WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) in association with the Sustainability Transitions Research Network (STRN). The conference theme is “Governance in an Era of Change – Making Sustainability Transitions Happen”. More than 100 sessions will take place. Altogether, more than 500 contributions were accepted and 600 participants are expected.
