On April 5, the Institute for Managing Sustainability at the Vienna University of Economics and Business will hold a guest lecture on "Sustainability Management in Practice". Irene Jakobi, Head of CSR Telekom Austria and A1, will discuss the daily CSR practice in a major Austrian company. In her lecture, Irene Jakobi will present the basic tools of sustainability management, such as stakeholder involvement, reporting, and materiality analyses. She will also offer practical insights into questions such as: Which activities are actually covered by CSR? How to convince the board of new CSR activities? On the basis of concrete examples from practice, she spans an arc from theoretical foundations to practical approaches in the everyday business of sustainability management.
