The courses offered by the Institute for Managing Sustainability provide insights into sustainability practice. In the summer semester 2018 we were able to invite Herbert Schlossnikl, technical director of the Vöslauer Mineralwasser AG, for an evening lecture. Vöslauer has been involved in sustainability management for many years. Their measures to foster corporate sustainability ranges from plastic recycling and packaging optimization through energy efficiency to the eco-efficient operation of the Vöslauer Thermal Bath. Over the past few years, bachelor theses have been written at the Institute for Managing Sustainability on Vöslauer's various sustainability activities. In the ensuing discussion, the approximately 100 students used the opportunity to reflect on the lecture together with Herbert Schlossnikl. This was moderated by Norma Schönherr, project manager at the Institute for Managing Sustainability.
