The meeting will be hosted by our Institute and is open to anyone interested in mathematics.

The meeting features

• three plenary talks across different fields of pure and applied mathematics by Birgit Rudloff (WU Vienna University of Economics and Business), Birgit Schörkhuber (University of Innsbruck) and Birgit Vogtenhuber (Graz University of Technology);

• five parallel sessions of contributed talks from female mathematicians working at Austrian Universities and Research Institutions and a guest speaker from Mersin University, Turkey;

• a talk about gender aspects in mathematics by Olivia Pfeiler (KAI GmbH | Women in Data Science Villach) which focuses this year on “Women Mathematicians in Industry”;

• and a lively panel discussion following up on this topic with Johanna Grames (AOP Health), Petra Grell-Kunzinger (Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe Austria) and Michaela Szölgyenyi (University of Klagenfurt).
