The T-Mobile Environment and Sustainability Funds yearly awards innovations promoting sustainable action and targeting the solution of environmental problems with €50,000.

Eligible for funding are already existing as well as new projects. A formal pre-condition is the availability of a co-funding rate of at least 25%. The potential of mobile technology and devices should explicitly be used in order to tackle environmental challenges.

The award is open to private individuals as well as nonprofit and for profit organizations and public institutions. A special award is given to school projects, taking their specific circumstances into account.

The Social Entrepreneurship Center evaluates and consults the TUN Award since two years. Goal of this scientific process evaluation is the further development and advancement of the award. Furthermore, the information on the external and internal representation of the award is collected and analyzed. Since 2016, the SEC is responsible for screening the submissions and prepares a short list for the jury.
