Welcoming Eva Arnold and Alperen Karaca: Two new Teaching and Research Assistants Join the IMM Team!

20/03/2025

We are pleased to welcome Eva Arnold and Alperen Karaca as Teaching and Research Assistants at our institute. In their new roles, they will support our research projects and teaching activities, contributing to both academic and practical insights in their fields.

A little about Eva:

Hello everyone!

I am Eva, MSc Marketing student at WU and recently joined the IMM team as Research & Teaching Assistant. Building on my academic foundation in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, I have developed a passion for strategic marketing and consumer psychology.

Prior to my Master's programme, I gained practical experience particularly in the areas of brand events and experiential marketing in the automotive industry. My background also includes research roles in SME development and quality management, where I have contributed to academic publications and event organisation.

Besides my professional and academic activities, I have a great passion for photography, sports and delicious food. I am always up for a run, swim, dance, or Pilates, and enjoy exploring new cities. Otherwise, I enjoy immersing myself in a new series or a good conversation over a coffee or beer.

A little about Alperen:

I recently joined IMM as a Research & Teaching Assistant while pursuing my MSc in Marketing at WU. My background in psychology and management, combined with my deep interest in human behavior, has shaped my academic and professional journey. I am particularly fascinated by how consumers make decisions and how brands can strategically engage with them.
Before joining IMM, I gained experience in Sales, Brand Management, and Business Development in the global FMCG industry, where I worked on market expansion strategies and consumer engagement initiatives.
Outside of academia, I love getting lost in a good film, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, enjoying long walks around the city, diving into philosophy, having deep conversations over a cup of coffee, and exploring new cocktails.
