Finalist for the 2022 Best Dissertation in International Management

We are happy to announce that Jan Schmitt, member of the HiA research team, has been chosen as a finalist for the 2022 IM Division D’Amore-McKim School of Business Northeastern University Award for the Best Dissertation in International Management.

With this nomination, Jan’s dissertation is recognized as one of the three best dissertations in the area of international management.

The prize is awarded within the frame of the annual conference of Academy of Management (AOM), the largest and most important management conference with more than 10,000 participants from all over the world. Jan had the great honor to present his dissertation in front of a jury of highly renowned scholars in Seattle, WA, USA.

Jan defended his dissertation titled “Headquarters on the Move: The Phenomenon of Multinational Corporations’ Headquarters Relocating Across Borders” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Phillip C. Nell in November last year. Congratulations to both of them!
