We congratulate Prof. Eva Eberhartinger on her presentation at the European Parliament in the FISC Subcommittee on Tax Matters! The topic of the public meeting was "Simplification and Transparency: The Role of a Simplified Tax Policy to encourage Growth, Job Creation, Competitiveness, and Cross-Border Business within the EU."

In her presentation, Prof. Eberhartinger proposed three main directions for the EU:

1. Address known drivers of tax law complexity

2. Digitize tax administrations

3. Address "good taxpayers"
