Irina Zviadadze is Engelbert-Dockner-Fellow at the Institute for Capital Market Research (ISK)

We are pleased to welcome Irina Zviadadze, the Engelbert-Dockner-Fellow at the Research Institute for Capital Market Research (ISK). Professor Zviadadzewill visit WU from November 25 to December 06, 2024.

Irina Zviadadze is Associate Professor of Finance at HEC Paris and Research Fellow at Swedish House of Finance.

Irina's research interests lie in asset pricing. She studies a risk-return tradeoff in different asset markets (equity, fixed-income, and foreign-exchange markets) and across different horizons. Her papers appeared in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis; and were also presented at numerous conferences and seminars worldwide. Irina has received several research awards, including Hans Dalborg's award for excellence in research in financial economics in 2019 and the Best Young Researcher Award in Finance and Economics in 2023 by Foundation SCOR, Europlace Institute of Finance, and Institut Louis Bachelier.

The Engelbert-Dockner-Fellowship are sponsored by the POK Pühringer Privatstiftung and enable WU to invite renowned professors to spend an extended period at WU. With this initiative, we are also preserving the memory of Professor Engelbert Dockner, who passed away in 2017. Professor Dockner continuously fostered cutting-edge research and universities' educational mission in the field of capital markets.
