We are delighted to announce that Alina Steshkova's (from the Research Institute for Capital Markets (ISK)) dissertation has been recognized as one of the top three in the prestigious FIRM Research Prize competition. The Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM) awards this honor to the best dissertations in the field of "Financial Markets and Intermediaries," celebrating outstanding research completed in 2022 or 2023 at universities within the European Monetary Union.

Alina's excellent work, supervised by Josef Zechner and Otto Randl, was selected by a distinguished jury chaired by Prof. Günter Franke, acknowledging her significant contributions to the field. She also had the opportunity to present her research at the FIRM Research Conference in Frankfurt.
